An arm wrestler who national and world titles has been charged for selling apricot seeds as a cancer handling.
A cancer survivor himself, Jason Vale sold the seeds to other cancer patients through his website Apricots From God for $18.95 US a pound.
Subsequently allegedly refusing to stop peddling apricot seeds as a cancer cure, Vale was arrested again Wednesday for along with his mother, Barbara Vale, 77, who allegedly assisted him.
They confront charges of contempt of court, alleging that Vale, 51, has continued to violate a 2000 court social club that banned him from selling the seeds as a purported cancer cure.
This marks the second time Vale has been arrested for allegedly violating the court social club; he was bedevilled in 2003 and sentenced to five years.
