Start with a butterflied flank steak. Ask the butcher to do this for yous. Mine gladly does this for me at no charge, with a smile. 🙂

Spinach Stuffed Steak Pinwheel Recipe

  • two pounds flank steak butterflied
  • ½ teaspoon salt or to taste
  • Twine
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • ii garlic cloves pressed
  • 2-three ounces baby spinach leaves most ii handfuls, stems removed
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups diced plum tomatoes
  • ¼ cup basil cutting into slivers
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Open up butterflied steak like a book and identify it on a cut board.

  • Season with common salt.
